Sokali Maho Villa Resort

A Tranquil Retreat for the Body, Mind, and Soul in Nature's Embrace
With stone and wood as its parchment, nature gently inscribes the memories and gifts of time. At Sokali Maho, we embrace the philosophy of respecting and coexisting with nature. By reinterpreting spatial aesthetics through natural materials such as stone, wood, and bamboo, we hope every guest’s stay is a profound encounter with the surroundings, and a journey of harmony between people and nature.

About Sokali Maho Villa Resort
Drawing from the original Atayal name of the land, Sokali Maho is built with low-impact development and eco-friendly methods. To preserve the pristine forest and valley landscape of Wulai, the resort blends architecture seamlessly into its natural surroundings.

A Culinary Journey

A Culinary Journey

Guests enjoy a thoughtfully designed three-meal experience, where each dish reflects the local terroir and seasonal bounty.
Every stay is the beginning of a deeper dialogue with nature.
We warmly invite you to discover the art of living in harmony with the land—a place where purity, luxury, and sustainability converge.

Villa Suite – Stonebound

The Stonebound Suite features two double beds and draws inspiration from the natural stone formations of the Red River Valley, where springs flow gently beneath the rugged terrain. The suite is designed with deep-toned dining-style furnishings and charcoal-hued stone walls, evoking the raw energy of the earth. A rare highlight is its dual-bathtub layout—perfect for both soaking and playful splashing, offering an immersive bathing experience that feels as if you're enveloped by nature itself.

Villa Suite – Infuse

The Infuse Suite also features two double beds and includes a traditional Japanese tea corner. The space is adorned in roasted tea hues, echoing the earthy landscapes where tea leaves flourish. This warm palette not only enhances the sense of serenity but also pays tribute to the fertile ground that sustains life and ritual.

Villa Suite – Woven

The Woven Suite is fitted with a king-size bed and is inspired by indigenous weaving traditions, where plant fibers such as kudzu and ramie are gathered and crafted into textiles. In addition to natural wood and stone, the suite features soft furnishings that showcase woven textures and craftsmanship. It is the only suite that includes a dedicated living room, dual restrooms, and both indoor and outdoor bathtubs—inviting guests to indulge in the joy of bathing under the open sky, cradled by the forest.

Guest Room – Evermount

The Evermount Room channels the varied colors and textures of mountain ridges and hills, integrating natural elements throughout the space. Earth tones and organic stone textures are used to create a peaceful atmosphere that mirrors the calm of being embraced by nature.

Guest Room – Timeless

The Timeless Room is designed in warm wooden tones which symbolize the passage of time and the enduring stories held within. Celebrating the natural beauty of timber, the space emphasizes the textures and grain of the wood to offer a sense of comfort, reverence for nature, and lasting warmth.
